I would search for something like “#moveoutcleanings” and then reach out either by leaving a review or reaching out directly.

Tip #37 – Add additional information about your business

If someone leaves a bad review about another one The key to making this work well is to always follow up with a positive comment to balance things out so it doesn’t look too suspicious. For example: “We appreciate your business. I’m sorry you had such a bad experience at (competitor’s name). We have been in business for over 25 years and take the quality control of our products very seriously. If we can ever be of assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask!”

Tip #38 – Contact customers who are about to leave a negative review

Sometimes customers just need that little extra push to talk through their concerns before they go ahead and do something rash like leave a bad review. Try calling them instead if possible since phone calls are much more personal than email texts-and this will give you a much better chance of turning things around and keeping their business.

For example: If I had a flower shop and didn’t list my store hours on one platform? That could potentially be hurting me and would be something worth looking into immediately.

TIP: To achieve this, try using Schema markup on all your local listings so you don’t have to worry about manually editing each one.

Tip #40 – Reach out to new customers who are likely ready to spend

If you notice a positive review from someone you don’t know? Try reaching out and directly offering them something for free but make sure it’s relevant! For example: If the customer is reviewing my flower shop, I might send them some fresh flowers with a personal note. This would get their name in front of more people since they will probably share it online, which can be great for word-of-mouth marketing.

Give away something small enough that they won’t feel like you’re trying to entice them into spending money with you, but significant enough that they will be more inclined to come back and spend with your business later on.

There are tons of different sections to choose from on Google My Business, but you should pick and choose which ones are the most important to your business and fill out only those.

For example, You probably want to prioritize filling out things like your hours, address & phone number before getting into things like how many locations you have or products/services you offer. This way, customers can find you just by searching for the most basic of things and have a good idea about what you’re all about ahead of time!

Tip #42 – Create a Google account to manage your listings

One easy way to make sure that everything’s consistent across all of your different local listings is to create a new Google account with your business name or domain name. Then, you can easily edit & delete listings from one place using this account instead of having to go through each profile.

Use Gmail, but connect it with G Suite. It will help you get into the habit of emailing from an official address over time–and that makes it feel more professional, too.

For example: If I owned a flower shop I might also want to claim listings for florists in my area as well since it’s the same category of business–even though they’re not necessarily competing with me exactly. This is just another way to help bolster your rankings and increase exposure!

TIP: To find local listings you can create or claim, simply do a quick Google search for something like “add a listing” or “listing sites.” You should be able to find numerous directories that you can add yourself or your company!

Tip #44 – Link back to your website

When creating local listings, one thing you’ll want to be sure to do is to link back to your website from the business listing itself.

This helps Google know who you are and where else to rank your company for other important searches-all without having to create a ton of new pages on your website!

TIP: Even if you’re not creating or claiming additional listings, it’s still smart to link back anyways. That way, any local rankings you have will be shared with all of your other profiles as well!

Tip #45 – Leverage review sites

If there are review websites out there that are popular & relevant for what you offer (like Yelp or Google Plus Local), make sure that they don’t go neglected! These can serve as a great way to not only increase your visibility but provide a ton of valuable content that can be used elsewhere.

“In the same bucket as local listings, review sites are a great way for people to preview what you have to offer before ever stepping foot in your business. But it’s also serving as alternative forms of content generation or backlinks-all things Google loves!”

GMB profiles are an easy way for people to learn more about who you are and what you do. But there’s a lot of other places online where they can go to find information about local businesses!

With this in mind, make sure that the profile information on both your Google My Business page and your company website is written in a way that makes sense to users-even those who may be searching from their phones!
